Canadian Nationals
Moncton, NB
250cc Pro
The race was in Moncton and it’s a great place to visit.
I'm sure everyone has been there once or twice if not check it out. Anyways the track was fun and the dirt was
good. I felt good in practice considering
Moncton is 4 hours ahead of California time.
That meant 9:00 practice is really 5:00 in the morning! It takes a little more than that to throw
off "The Diesel."
The first race I had a bad
start. I came out around 9th. I worked my way quickly into third when it
started raining. It was coming down
good for about ten or fifteen minutes.
The track got slick but not too bad. I ended the moto in third.
The second moto I had a better
start. I came out about 4th. I charged into second trying to catch JSR. He holeshotted and took off after his first
moto disaster. We both pulled away from
the competition. Towards the end of the
moto, my mechanic gave me the signal that I had the overall. It was good to see that. I cruised into the finish line with the
overall win.
It felt great to finally win the
overall at the Canadian Nationals this year.
There are two more to go, so I'll do my best to win those as well.
